All volunteers must be approved as a volunteer through Lake Washington School District (LWSD). Visit LWSD's volunteer page for more information or to apply. Your approved status is valid for two years and allows you to volunteer anywhere in the district.

Volunteer Opportunities

• Join the PTSA Executive Board for 2024-25. We have one position left to fill, the VP of Community Events. Email president@agbellptsa.org to learn more. 
  
  All community events are on hold for next year until this position is filled. Community Events include Harvest Party, Spring Dance, Multicultural Night, Incoming Kindergarten Playdate, Walk to School Week, Staff Appreciation, Talent Show, and more. As the VP of Community Events, you will help find chairs for all of these events and work with the chairs to ensure all planning and event details are taken care of. We have one parent in the community who has offered to co-chair this position if someone will split the role with her. 
  
  
• Join one of the PTSA Committees for next year (2024-25). Email president@agbellptsa.org 
  
  Much of the work we do is done through our committees. We have nearly 40 committees for the 2024-25 school year, so there are MANY ways to help.We encourage everyone in the community to get involved. We tend to see that the vast majority of PTSA volunteers are women. We would really like to see that change.
