Bell PTSA is hosting our annual book exchange in May and June of 2024. This is a wonderful way to get new reading materials into the hands of Bell students. Our goal is to collect 1,500 books (allowing each student to take home 3 books), so please consider donating any high-quality books appropriate for pre-k to 5th grade to Bell PTSA.
How it Works:
Community members will donate books that are appropriate for Pre-K - 5th grade readers. The PTSA will then go through the books and organize them by reading level, subject, etc. Once we have organized the donated books, Bell students and their teachers will be invited to come by and select books to take home. The amount of books students can "shop" for is contingent on the number of books we receive via donation. Therefore, the success of this event depends on community engagement. We hope to see many community members donating wonderful, high-quality books for our students.
Book Donations: May 28 - June 7
Donate books at Bell Elementary. There will be bins located outside the school in front of the main entrance. Please ensure the books are appropriate for Pre-K - 5th grade and in relatively good condition.
Book Pick-Up: June 11 - 14
Students will attend the Book Exchange event during their school day. They will have the option to select at least three "new" books to take home and keep.
