Did you know teachers in Washington state spend an average of $1,041 out of pocket each year to supply their classroom with items to foster a positive learning environment? (source)
We want to support our amazing Bell educators, so we’ve set up a “Free Teacher Shop” to offer easy (and free!) access to many of the supplies they need most. But we need the community's help to keep the shop stocked!
Some of the most needed donations are…
- School supplies for new students or to replace used up items: new crayons, colored pencils, markers, dry-erase markers, glue sticks, wide ruled composition and spiral-bound notebooks, etc.
- Office supplies: colorful sticky notes, dry-erase markers, stickers, gel pens, etc.
- Backup/emergency snacks: individually packaged goldfish, granola bars, applesauce pouches, pretzels, crackers, etc.
- Classroom cleaning and hygiene supplies: Clorox wipes, Kleenex/tissues, wet wipes, hand sanitizer bottles or refills, etc.
- Classroom enrichments and supports: prize box trinkets, new or like-new children’s books, fidgets, stickers, small storage containers, etc.
If you are able to help, simply drop off donations in the AG Bell office or order through the AG Bell Free Teacher Shop Amazon Wish List to have materials shipped directly to school.
