Spring Carnival

The Bell PTSA will be hosting a Spring Carnival & Dance on Friday, May 20th from 6 - 8 pm. The evening will include a DJ, an outdoor dance floor, games, yummy treats, and more! Food will not be provided, so we encourage families to pack a picnic and blanket and/or chairs, and come join us for an evening of fun.

This is an outdoor event. It will be held rain or shine - dress appropriately! This is not a drop-off event. Students must be accompanied by an adult.

As with all of our events, they are not possible without volunteers. Please sign up HERE to help.

Egg Drop

We are thrilled to bring back the Bell PTSA Egg Drop event this year! This is an event where all K-5 students work in teams to design a device that will keep their raw egg from cracking when dropped from a high elevation. This is a great STEM activity and a wonderful opportunity to work in teams on creative solutions.

The Kirkland Fire Department will bring out their firetruck and drop all of the devices from the top of the ladder. Of course, if there is an emergency the fire department needs to attend to during the event, we will find an alternative way to drop the eggs. Click HERE to help with this event.

Walk to School Week

Walk to School Week is May 16 - 20. During Walk to School Week, students and families are encouraged to walk to and from school each day. We realize this is not feasible for everyone; however, if you're able to, we'd love to see your family participate.

For each day of Walk to School Week, the PTSA does a raffle and invites Alex the Bulldog (the school mascot) to join us. For the last day of the week, the Kirkland Police and Fire Departments join us to greet students as they arrive at school.

We need volunteers! Sign up HERE to help.
