Welcome to Bell PTSA's Website
Our Mission: To create and foster opportunities that enrich and support our children, teachers, and community.
The PTSA is the largest volunteer child-advocacy group in the country and Bell has advocacy at the core of everything we do. In addition to our advocacy work, we focus on providing educational enrichment opportunities to Bell students, building our community connection, and giving back to our community. Take a look around our new site to learn more about the work we do, and please get involved!
Thank you to everyone in our community who submitted a nomination for the Outstanding Educator and Golden Acorn (volunteer) Awards for the 2020-2021 school year. We are thrilled to present Shannon Greer with the Outstanding Educator Award and Brena Gattuccio and Leslie Victor with the Golden Acorn Award. Visit our awards page for examples of submissions for each recipient, and be sure to thank each of them for their contributions to our community.
We are thankful to be part of a school community that celebrates our LGBTQ+ students, staff, and families and has created a space where everyone who identifies as LGBTQ+ and gender non-conforming knows they are valued. Pride Month is not only a time for celebration, but also a time to reflect on the trials the LGBTQ+ community has endured and to celebrate those individuals who have fought — and continue to fight — for full equality. We stand in solidarity with the LGBTQ+ community in their ongoing struggle against discrimination and injustice.
We hope your students have enjoyed the three virtual field trips with Pacific Science Center. Visit our education enrichment page for educational extension activities for each field trip. We would really appreciate feedback from the community about these events, so we can plan for next year. Please take a moment to complete this brief survey.
We are currently putting the yearbook together for this year, so please upload any photos you want in the yearbook to TreeRing (download the app - it's so easy to use!). Fifth grade parents, don't forget to upload your photo and dedication to your 5th grader. Visit the yearbook page for more information. Questions - email email@example.com
Did you know we provide food to 32 food-insecure Bell families each week? Additionally, we provide snacks to all classrooms every day to ensure no student is hungry at school. Please consider helping by donating food via our Amazon wishlist. To learn more or if your family needs help, visit Pantry Packs.
