Thank you for reaching out to your family, friends, employers, neighbors & strangers. You made it so much fun! We raised close to $40,000 in 5 days & it all goes to our kids & our wonderful and caring staff. What this community did was simply incredible! #proudtobeabellbulldog #wediditforthekids

Bell’s Annual Harvest Party is BACK and just 1 week away! Bring your family all decked out in their creative costumes for Trunk or Treating, games, crafts, photo booth pics, and more on Friday, Oct. 28 at 6:30 PM.

This event is free to all Bell student and staff families, but we encourage you to bring non-perishable food item(s) to help stock our pantry packs (click here for ideas).

Please eat a nutritious dinner at home prior to the party.

Remember that costumes must NOT include overly scary/violent themes, weapons, or masks (hygiene masks are ok of course!). This is not a drop-off event – parents must remain with and supervise their children – parent costumes welcome!

We still have 7 open slots for decorated trunks and plenty of other volunteer opportunities as well. Thanks in advance to all of our great volunteers who help to make this party great! Shifts are short so you can enjoy the party.

School photo retakes are scheduled for Thursday, November 3rd. This is an opportunity for students who missed picture day in September or for those who would like to retake their school photo. We need a few volunteers to help the photographers direct students in the gym from 12-2pm. If you're able to help, click the link below.

Sign up to help with picture retakes here!

National PTA's Reflections program provides opportunities for recognition and access to the arts which boost student confidence and success in the arts and in life.

Each year, over 300,000 students in Pre-K through Grade 12 create original works of art in response to a student-selected theme. This 50+ year-old program helps them explore their own thoughts, feelings and ideas, develop artistic literacy, increase confidence and find a love for learning that will help them become more successful in school and in life.

The 2022–2023 Reflections theme is Show Your Voice

Students are encouraged to submit art reflecting the theme Show your voice in one or all of the available arts categories: Dance Choreography, Film Production, Literature, Music Composition, Photography, Visual Arts (note: only 2D).

Entries are due by November 3, 2022

Visit our Reflections page for category rules and online entry forms.

If you are in need of supplies for the visual art category, we have art kits for loan that students can bring home for creating 2D visual art. Fill out the form HEREand we will deliver a take-home kit to your child's classroom.

If you have any questions, please email reflections@agbellstpa.org.

Each year, Washington State PTA hosts Legislative Assembly—an event where delegates from across the state (including Bell PTSA) vote on legislative priorities. Based on delegates' votes, these five top-ranked issues will serve as WSPTA's legislative platform for the next two years:

  1. Addressing the Student Mental Health Crisis
  2. Addressing Critical Gaps in Education Funding
  3. Preventing and Reducing Gun Violence and Suicide
  4. Addressing Funding, Inclusion and Supports in Special Education
  5. Building and Maintaining Safer School Facilities

Visit WSPTA’s advocacy page for more information. Washington State’s Legislative Session kicks off on Monday, January 9. We encourage all community members to actively engage in the legislative session. A great place to start is to sign-up for Action Alerts from WSPTA. These action alerts are quick, easy ways to communicate with your legislators about topics they are actively working on.

Bell PTSA continues to make advocacy a top priority. We will be in contact with our legislators during Washington State’s Legislative session, and we will continue to advocate for solutions to issues that are specific to Bell and/or our school district. Visit our advocacy page to learn more.

The Bell PTSA is already hard at work creating a beautiful yearbook! The quality of our yearbook depends on the photos our community shares. Do you have photos from Walk to School Week, the Back to School Picnic, first day of school, playground pics, art classes, or classroom pics, etc.? If so, we want to see them. It is so easy to upload your photos to Treering (see image below). We encourage families to upload photos throughout the year, as events occur. We build the yearbook all year, so we prefer to have the photos uploaded around the time of the event.

Also, Treering is extending the 10% discount on yearbooks through October 31st, so get those yearbook orders in!
