IT'S GAME TIME! Our Fall Donation Drive kicks-off Monday morning! Every donation received between 10/10 and end of day on 10/14 will earn a point for your student(s) classroom(s). The classrooms with the highest number of participation points per grade level will win a CLASS PARTY! We need to raise $40,000 this year ~ our goal is to bring in $25,000 in direct donations and $15,000 in employer matching. We reached our goal last year, we can do it again this year! Funds will go toward field trips, staff appreciation events, school parties (Harvest Party, Spring Carnival), student enrichment programs, and more! |
Participation points will be awarded on a 5-point scale: donation amounts ranging from $5.00-$100 will earn 1 point for your child's classroom(s) donation amounts ranging from $101-$500 will earn 2 points for your child's classroom(s) donation amounts ranging from $501-$999 will earn 3 points for your child's classroom(s) donation amounts $1,000 or more will earn 5 points for your child's classroom(s)!
Only one donation per day, per family will count. The minimum donation is $5.00. If you wish to donate multiple times to boost points, please make your donations on different days. Recruiting other family members to participate is a great way to boost participation points ~ Grandmas & Grandpas, Aunts & Uncles are welcome to get into the game! Game stats will be announced daily ~ be sure to check your inbox everyday during game week! |
National PTA's Reflections program provides opportunities for recognition and access to the arts which boost student confidence and success in the arts and in life. Each year, over 300,000 students in Pre-K through Grade 12 create original works of art in response to a student-selected theme. This 50+ year-old program helps them explore their own thoughts, feelings and ideas, develop artistic literacy, increase confidence and find a love for learning that will help them become more successful in school and in life. | Students are encouraged to submit art reflecting the theme Show your voice in one or all of the available arts categories: Dance Choreography, Film Production, Literature, Music Composition, Photography, Visual Arts (note: only 2D).

Bell’s Annual Harvest Party is BACK and just 3 weeks away! Bring your family all decked out in their creative costumes for Trunk or Treating, games, crafts, photo booth pics, and more on Friday, Oct. 28 at 6:30 PM. This event is free to all Bell student and staff families, but we encourage you to bring non-perishable food item(s) to help stock our pantry packs (click here for ideas).
Please eat a nutritious dinner at home prior to the party but some baked and savory treats will be for sale for 5th grade fundraising. Remember that costumes must NOT include overly scary/violent themes, weapons, or masks (hygiene masks are ok of course!). This is not a drop-off event – parents must remain with and supervise their children – parent costumes welcome! Thanks in advance to all of our great volunteers who help to make this party great! Our Tutta Bella dine-out has been extended. The Kirkland location was closed for a few days due to a broken oven. They are back up and running now and they have extended our fundraiser through the next two weekends! Make dinner easy as pie while helping raise funds for our PTSA programs! - When: Thursday, October Oct 6th– Sunday, October 16th, 2022
- Where: Tutta Bella Kirkland (QFC in Kirkland Urban) is likely where most Bell families will go, but the code is valid at ALL Tutta Bella restaurants from 10/6-10/16, so encourage your family and friends in other locations to support Bell PTSA.
- How does it work? Order a meal from Tutta Bella from October 6-16 via dine-in, delivery, takeout, or curbside from tuttabella.com. Use the coupon code EasyAsPieBellPTSA at checkout and 20% of sales will be donated to the Bell PTSA.
- The code cannot be used on 3rd party delivery sites (UberEats, DoorDash, etc)

The Bell PTSA is thrilled to bring math competitions to Bell Elementary this year! We have three competitions scheduled for the 2022-23 school year: Registration for the Fall Noetic Math Contest is open on our PTSA website through 10/15. - This contest is open to Bell students in 2nd - 5th grade.
- Registration fee is $15 per student.
- The contest will be held after school at Bell, within the contest window set by NLMC: 11/10 - 11/23.
- To enroll your student (2nd - 5th grade only), please complete the Fall 2022 Noetic Math Contest form on our website. (Go to "my account" in the top left corner, "my forms/paperwork" and scroll down to the "new forms" section). Registration will open 10/3.

| The Bell PTSA rolls our popcorn machine outside (usually two Fridays per month) and we start poppin'. As the students head out for lunch recess, we are there waiting with fresh bags of popcorn. The date of our first general membership meeting of the year has been changed to Thursday, October 13 at 7pm on Zoom. Join us to learn more about the PTSA and the programs and events we have in store this year. We will also vote on budget amendments and elect additional PTSA Executive board members.
