As with all of our classes, we MUST have a parent chaperone for each class. The chaperone must be a PTSA member (for insurance coverage). The main duties of the chaperone are to make sure the students are safe and where they're supposed to be, and to ensure there are two adults present at all times (one being the instructor). THANK YOU, Bell community for your generosity this holiday season! We were able to fulfill all of the needs on the gift drive wish list and most of the wants too!

There are a few remaining wants on the list, if you’d still like to donate and bring a gift on Monday 12/5.
Large gifts like bikes don’t have to be brand new. If you have a bike your kiddo has outgrown that’s in good condition it can absolutely be donated to the gift drive.

We encourage you to register even if you are unable to attended because a recording of the presentation as well as material handouts will be sent to all registered attendees on Dec 9th. So you can rewatch or watch for the first time at a time that's convenient for you.

Snapdoodle Toys and Games in Totem Lake is partnering with Bell Elementary 5th graders to help you with your holiday shopping. 

On Thursday, December 8th from 4-7pm, the store welcomes Bell families to shop their wide selection of toys, games and other gifts, and they will donate 20% of all sales back to our school. Just mention the Bell Elementary fundraiser at checkout.

We know many families like to give Bell staff gifts for the holidays, birthdays, and teacher appreciation. If you're looking for gift or treat ideas for your child's teacher and our amazing support staff, many staff members have submitted their classroom Amazon wish lists and a list of their favorite things. Click below to find your child's teacher's favorites. Consider a gift for support staff/admin as well. Each classroom teacher is assigned a number on the sheet and there are 2-3 admin/support staff members with a corresponding number that we encourage you to consider gifting to as well to ensure everyone feels appreciated this holiday season!

Competition date: 3/16/2023

Location: Bell Elementary after school.

Test format:

• 75 Minute multiple choice test
• 24 Questions for students in grades 1 to 4
• 30 Questions for students in grades 5 to 12   

Student registration deadline: 12/15/2022

Fees: $21 before 12/15/22. Late registration fee: $35 between 12/16-12/31.

Perks: Each in-person participant receives a T-shirt, a gift, and an electronic certificate in the spring.

There is no registration cancellation or a refund offered after the registration. Math Kangaroo offers financial assistance to families in hardship; please contact finance@mathkangaroo.org to ask for assistance and provide appropriate proof of hardship.

Bell's 5th graders are raising funds in order to take field trips to the Museum of Flight, the Burke Museum, and Sound Experience. You can help them get there and get some tasty treats for yourself! 

Today (12/2) is the last day to place a See's Candy order! Items purchased will be shipped directly to your home by December 24th.

Visit their My Fundraising Place page between now and December 5th for Butter Braid pastries and cookie dough. To purchase, choose your favorite 5th grader (or teacher!), place your order through their fundraising page. Your order will be delivered to the student (or teacher) sellers at school on December 14th. Your seller will contact you for student delivery.

All volunteers must be approved as a volunteer through Lake Washington School District (LWSD). LWSD stopped requiring proof of vaccination for volunteers as of November 1, 2022.
