AG Bell is officially a registered site for the 2023 GOTR spring season!

GOTR is open to girls in 3rd-5th grade. Practices will be Tuesdays and Thursdays 4:00-5:30pm, March 14 - May 23, with the end of season 5k on May 21st.

There is a 2-3 week overlap with the end of some winter enrichment classes and the school play. We understand if your student will miss a few classes at the beginning of the session - the attendance policy will not apply to these dates.

To register visit: https://www.gotrpugetsound.org/locations

and select Alexander Graham Bell as your site location.

COST:  Sliding scale: $20-$250.

Financial Assistance: If you cannot afford the suggested minimum of $20 and need a full scholarship, please email program@girlsrun.org

We are still in need of either a 3rd coach OR a substitute coach to fill in if one of our coaches are unable to attend practice.

If you're interested in learning more about coaching/subbing, email president@agbellptsa.org

Dine-Outs are one of the ways we fundraise throughout the year. We partner with local restaurants who give a percentage of sales to Bell PTSA for the day of the event. It's a great way to come together to support our school and our local restaurants.

Our next dine-out event will be at Chuck E. Cheese in Bellevue! 20% of all purchases from 3-9pm on both Feb 1 & Feb 22 will be donated to our PTSA.

Thank you Whitney Takaba for organizing this fun fundraiser for our school!

Our next PTSA Community Meeting will be on Thursday, February 9th at 7pm on Zoom - look for the link/meeting ID in next week's Bulldog Blast.

Join us for a mid-year recap, learn more about upcoming events, and help us elect this year's nominating committee (we still need 2 more volunteers! - see below).

We are looking for 2 more volunteers to serve on the nominating committee to help elect the 2023-2024 Bell PTSA Executive Board.

The nominating committee helps interested community members connect with the current board to learn more about board positions and help to identify candidates for next year's board. The nominating committee will present their nominations for the 2023-2024 Board Election at the May general membership meeting.

If you're interested in learning more about serving on the nominating committee, email president@agbellptsa.org.

Calling all students!

Create the cover for this year’s Yearbook!

This year’s theme is, "The Future's So Bright - Gotta Wear Shades" What does that look like to you? Create your artistic vision, take a photo of it (or scan it) and email it to yearbook@agbellptsa.org

All entries are due by March 1

The winner will receive a free yearbook and other entries will be featured in the yearbook as well. Visit the Yearbook Contest page for all details and requirements. Below are a few of the amazing works of art recently submitted.

From left to right: Rhys C. (3rd grade), Scarlette Z (1st grade), and Olivia M. (4th grade).

Keep those submissions coming in, Bell Bulldogs!

Do you want to get involved with the advocacy work the PTSA does? We have some great ways to get involved:

Focus on Advocacy Week: February 6-10

Focus on Advocacy Week is February 6-10. Each day will focus on a specific issue from our Top 5 legislative priorities. During this week, community members can participate in daily calls to actions. Subscribe to WSPTA Action Network to participate.

Focus Day Returns: February 20

Focus Day will be February 20, 2023, in Olympia. Members are encouraged to meet with their legislators about our 2023-2024 Legislative Priorities. Use the resources in the advocacy toolkit to make appointments and plan successful meetings.

Questions: email advocacy@agbellptsa.org

Bell preschool students have been having regular visits to the library. Mr. Marino is looking to grow the library's collection of board books for our preschool students. If your kids have board books they are ready to pass on to new little readers, you can drop off board book donations at the Bell front office.
