SUBJECT: Bulldog Blast 4-29-22

April 29, 2022

It’s that time of year where we get to show our appreciation to the amazing teachers and staff at Bell who have persevered with wit, creativity, and smarts, showing that they are true survivors outlasting the longest year ever! Here's what we have planned for next week:

  • Monday: Coffee breakfast bar
  • Tuesday: Lunch paid for by the PTSA
  • Wednesday: Succulents
  • Thursday: Thank you cards and trail mix bar
  • Friday: Stock the staff lounge, Amazon Wishlists, classroom Favs, and Survivor Kits

The PTSA would love your help! Here's how you can be part of this great event:

  1. Sign-up HERE to donate items for each day, or to help with set-up.
    Drop items off at Bell.

  2. Be sure to have your student(s) send in a thank you card on Thursday, May 5.

  3. Get something for Bell staff from their Amazon wishlists and/or favorite things list. Please be sure to take care of the staff members in the same group (notated in the list). We want to thank ALL staff, not only the teachers.

Visit our Staff Appreciation page for more info. Thank you, Tennile Jones, for organizing this wonderful event!

Thank you to everyone who joined the Earth Day Campus Clean-Up event at Bell last weekend. We had a wonderful group of folks show up and we spent the morning cleaning up garbage, removing invasive species, and planting some flowers.

Is there a teacher at Bell that you think is amazing? If so, please take a moment to nomination them for the Outstanding Educator award.

Do you know of a volunteer who has brought value to our school community? If so, please take a moment to nominate that person for the Golden Acorn award.

The nomination process only takes a minute!

Deadline: May 1, 2022

Our last PTSA community meeting of the year will be held on Thursday, May 12 at 7pm. The principal and associate principal from Finn Hill Middle School will join us to provide information about the transition to middle school and to answer any questions. Walk to School Week is May 16-20! This is a super fun and easy volunteer opportunity that occurs for 30 minutes each day before school that week. Volunteers help collect the names of kids who have walked (or just want to enter)! We will also need a volunteer to wear the Bulldog Costume! The kids love this event and you're all done by the time your little ones have entered the building! Sign up HERE to help.

We are so excited about Bell's first ever Carnival & Dance event on May 20 from 6-8pm. To make this event a success, we need all the help we can get. We have volunteer positions both before and during the event. Please click on the button below to sign-up. Thank you!

Thank you, Erin Barr, for chairing this event. We are so thankful for all the time and energy you've already put into this amazing night!
