The Bell PTSA is doing a staff appreciation event on Friday, December 17 and we'd love to have many community members involved. There are a number of ways to show your appreciation:

• Bring a homemade dish for the event 
• Donate some of the staff's most preferred items 
• Help set-up the event on the morning of 12/17
• Purchase items from the Amazon Wish Lists & Favorite Things List for Bell staff

All snack and food items will need to be dropped off at Bell on Thursday, Dec.16 or before 8:00am on Friday, Dec.17. We're also happy to meet you to collect goodies. Please contact communityevents@agbellptsa.org with questions.

One of Bell PTSA's core focus areas is educational enrichment. A significant portion of our annual budget is devoted to educational enrichment. And while this has been more challenging to do remotely, we have continued to offer remote field trips and other virtual learning opportunities to Bell students. 

Fortunately, we recently got the ok to bring Michelle Lustgarten back into the classrooms and we are thrilled! Michelle Lustgarten has been doing art lessons with Bell students for many years. During remote learning, she quickly pivoted and created some wonderful video lessons for our students. 

We loved the video lessons but are SO EXCITED to get back to more hands-on educational enrichment. Welcome back, Michelle! And happy creating, Bell Bulldogs. 

We need volunteers for each art lesson. Please sign-up below.

Nothing we do is possible without volunteers! YOU can make such a positive impact in our school by simply carving out some time to help out. Below are a few of our current volunteer opportunities (visit our volunteer page to see all opportunities).

• We’re looking for people to step into board positions for next year (2022-23)
  The board has term limits of 2 years for each position. Many of our current board members are in their second year. The current president, treasurer, and secretary are all in their second year.  Start date: July 1, 2022.
  
  
• We need one more volunteers to help with the financial review in January (we have 2 of the 3 spots filled)
  No experience needed. This is a one-time commitment for about 3 hours to review our financials with a group of three people.
  
  
• We need two more people to join the Nominating Committee
  This committee is responsible for finding folks to nominate for PTSA board positions next year. We cannot have a PTSA without a board - please help us find folks for next year's board.

All volunteers must be (1) approved as a volunteer through LWSD and (2) show proof of vaccination. More info. 

The Pantry Packs chair, Leslie Victor, is getting ready to make extra large grocery packs for our food-insecure families at Bell. We want to ensure our Pantry Pack familes have extra food to support them during the holiday break. If you're able to, please consider donating food to our food pantry. There are two ways to do this:

• Donate food via our Amazon wish list
• Donate food by dropping off items at Bell's front office
