We are doing a staff appreciation event on Friday, December 17

We'd like Bell Staff to feel like VIPs (which they are!). Let's show them our gratitude for being there every day for our kids! We need help transforming the staff lounge into a VIP lounge.

Here are some ways to help:

  • Bring a homemade breakfast/brunch style dish for the event
  • Donate some of our staff's most preferred items (snacks and supplies)

All donations will need to be gathered/collected after school on Thursday, Dec.16 OR before 8:00am Friday, Dec.17. We're also happy to meet you to collect goodies. Please contact communityevents@agbellptsa.org with questions. Thank you!

Bell staff: If you would like any changes to your Favorite Things list or would like to add an Amazon wish list, please email president@agbellptsa.org.

We are thrilled to announce that Amy Lang with Birds & Bees & Kids will be hosting a parent education class during our next PTSA meeting.

Many parents don’t know when or how to start the talks and need a bit of help to get the conversations started. This class is the place to get everyone off to a great start!

For parents of kids 5 – 11 years old

THANK YOU

Each of the 49 Bell students who submitted wish lists have been taken care of!

60 Bell community members donated 430 gifts!

Thank you to everyone who contributed to the gift drive.

Thank you Brenda Yin and Leslie Victor for organizing this wonderful event. And Leslie, thank you for going above and beyond and giving so much to these families!

Today is the last day to drop off gifts. If you signed up to donate gifts but did not drop them off yet, please bring them to the front office by Monday, 12/6.

Join us for our next Dine-Out!

  • Where: Panda Express, Totem Lake
  • When: Wednesday, December 8th (10am - 10pm)
  • How: Place your order on PandaExpress.com or via their app and enter the code 328255. Or, print the below flyer/show the digital version when placing an order in-person. 20% of your order will be donated to Bell PTSA.

Thank you, Whitney Takaba, for organizing our Dine-Out events!

The Pantry Packs chair, Leslie Victor, is getting ready to make extra large grocery packs for our food-insecure families at Bell. We want to ensure our Pantry Pack familes have extra food to support them during the holiday break. If you're able to, please consider donating food to our food pantry. There are two ways to do this:

  • Donate food via our Amazon wish list
  • Donate food by dropping off items at Bell's front office

Visit our Pantry Packs page for more info.

We need some volunteers to support our Green Team. We recently relaunched the composting program at Bell, thanks to the Green Team Chair, Amanda Gibson. Thank you, Amanda, for the countless hours you have put into this program. Your dedication and passion is admirable.

This program requires a volunteer in the lunchroom at the end of each lunch period (until kiddos are more familiar with the process). We only have a few people managing it right now and would love some help!

There are three lunches each day. You will be needed during the last 10 mins of each lunch (to help students put the correct items in compost and garbage) and immediately after to help clean desks. Plan to be available from 12-1:30pm for each shift you sign up for. I promise you it's fun. It's one of my favorite volunteer roles!

All volunteers must meet the following criteria:

  • Be approved as a volunteer through LWSD
  • Proof of vaccination MUST be provided
Visit LWSD's volunteer page for information

Bell staff - we are looking for a Green Team staff lead to partner with on our sustainability work at the school. If you're interested, reach out to Brian Story or president@agbellptsa.org.

Take your family to the Bellevue Downtown Ice Rink this holiday weekend!

  • Location: Bellevue Downtown Park, 100 100th Ave NE (south of Bellevue Square)

The ice rink is part of the Bellevue Season of Cheer. Families can make it a night of holiday fun with a visit to Snowflake Lane and a stroll through the Garden d’Lights at the Bellevue Botanical Garden.
